Hotel Portaló is placed right at the entry of Morro de São Paulo, in front of the harbor. Also known as one of the most comfortable and well-equipped accommodations in the island, the hotel is near the main beaches and town center. Our exclusive bungalows offer an outstanding view of the ocean and the bay to the north of the island. Hotel Portaló has 11 units, each one with a literary theme and decor based on a Brazilian, Portuguese or French writers. All of them have king size beds, antiallergenic pillows of goose feather, private bathroom with hair dryer, hot water and personal care accessories.
